Scanner app changelog 9.x.x

When migrating from v8.x.x to v9.x.x please uninstall the v8 app and install v9 (instead of doing a regular update).

What's new in version 9.17.1?

• Added an alternative view for seats selection. The user can now switch between a seat map and a list of seats.

What's new in version 9.13.0?

Features:

• We introduced seat selection capability on the already existing sales flow. At the moment the app supports traditional seatmaps only (i.e the new version of seatmaps is not supported yet).

• Removed deprecated settings: Scanning Workflow, Scanning Mode, scan with flashlight (it's located on the camera now), scans with sounds (it's located on the camera now)

Breaking changes:

• To install this version, users needs to uninstall any previous version of the app.
• Starting with this version the scanner will ignore Scanning workflow and Scanning mode settings. We are simplifying operations and implementing one single mode that works for everybody. Please, make sure you try it before deploying to all devices of your account.

• The camera in this scanner is a new implementation that shows the following information on the camera itself:
  • Selected Trip & Station.
  • Number of passengers (expected, actual, no-shows).
  • Scanned ticket information.
  • Flex pass balances.
  • Error & Warnings when applies.
• Flashlight and Scan with sounds settings can also be enabled/disabled from the camera while scanning.

Enhancements:

• On the Trips page now it highlights the currently selected Trip.
• On the Sales page we also show the currently selected Trip
