Pricing schemas
Navigate to admin>pricing.
Based on your permissions, the products you sell and your account configuration you will see any of a number of pricing schemas.
Below is the view of an account that supports all existing pricing schemas in the Betterez system.
- Prices are calculated and entered in the system based on origin and destination of the trip, including for connecting trips.
- Prices are entered in a fare triangle per each route and calculated based on the origin and destination of each segment, connecting trips will add up all the individual prices.
- Prices can be entered in the system using either the journey pricing tables or the point to point fare tables. When searching prices for a trip the system will first try to find the price in the Journey table and if not found will fall-back to the point to point pricing schema to find the price.
- Used for parcels, calculates prices based on the zone associated to the origin and destination stations and the volume and or weight of the parcels.
- It will use the postal code of the origin and destination stations and calculate prices based on GPS coordinates of those postal codes using Google Maps.
