Route price buckets

Operators looking to adjust their prices for schedules over a specific date range with different capacities can take advantage of the Betterez Price Buckets feature. This will enable you to price your seats based on capacity buckets for normal and promotional loading.

Segments information

The Segments information contains settings the information that will be used to add travel time and travel distances to the tickets. This information is used to generate schedules and to set the information in the ticket for the tickets report.

Once the alternative names are added to an station you will create schedules using the Manhattan station but also indicating the alternative name based on where the vehicle actually stops for that given schedule.

  • warning Once a product is created you could modify its name and it will populate to the booking flow, schedules, etc, and it will still work, since its ID will remain the same. The only "issue" to notice is that it will not change in the reports. The reports will still show the original name with which the product was created but it can still be filtered by the its ID which does not change.

Networkwide flexpasses need to be selected in the Product Lines section of the Routes. It also needs to have a fare table defined under Routes and Schedules although its price will be determined and pulled from this configuration.

Operation messages create

When the message appears on the trip search page, it is because the message applies to all schedules for the entire day.

Filter trips

If you edit an existing station's name, the change will flow through to all the Routes, Schedules, and Fares already set up. Editing a Station name will also reset the Filtered Trips. This means that all Filtered Trips will show up both in the Backoffice and Web Sales, which is why we recommend not changing a Station name after trips have been filtered out.

Products - bundles

Early seat selection affects where the seatmap is shown for schedules that use seatmap. When this checkbox is checked you will see the seatmap besides the trip results. If left unchecked the seatmap(s) will shown when entering the passengers details.
