Stations (and locations) can be created and managed under the Operations>Stations menu.

Once you have added a new station under Operations > Stations

In the taxes configuration page check the Is Border field so this tax will be applied for stations that are in the border. It is important to consider that both border stations located in the Account's country and those located in the continuous country must be configured.

If cross border taxation is enabled in the account, EVERY station must be configured and a section will appear in the station's configuration to select if the station is a border station and the country in which the station exists. This will allow the Cross Border Tax Configuration to identify which stations belong to the ‘Border’ group and which do not for the tax rule.

• Model: Select the context where this field is used—e.g. **Stations** for station create/edit in Operations, or the option used for checkout (transaction) custom fields.

In an account with a Time Zone set to UTC -4, the following stations are configured:

• Type: “Local” indicates that the departure trip originates from the first station defined in the schedule. In contrast, “Through” signifies that the trip includes intermediate stations along the route, meaning the departure does not occur at the initial station but at a subsequent stop within the schedule.

By definition, a route in Betterez is any grouping of stations flowing in the same direction.

The distance by postal code schema works using the lat and long of the postal code for the origin and destination stations and using a standard distance calculation between to points in the planet Earth. This is a "birds fly" calculation and it doesn't account for terrain or routing.

• Open menu when autoselecting stations: (since v7.7.0) If auto-select station is enabled for the account, by enabling this setting the app will open the stations menu after switching stations automatically.

For both in_person and reference_payments payment types, the configuration settings allow administrators to define the stations where each payment method will be available. Through the Criteria Exception option, it is possible to specify whether the rule should apply to “All Except Listed” stations or “None Except Listed” stations. Based on the selected criteria, the required stations can be explicitly included or excluded to ensure compliance with operational requirements. This configuration enables the system to dynamically filter and display the appropriate payment methods according to the station where the shift is currently open, ensuring accurate and controlled payment availability.

The value indicated in the Max Load field represents the highest number of passengers on board when departing from a station at any point in the itinerary, according to the manifest. This number may be the same at multiple stations if the maximum passenger count remains consistent at different points in the route.

State/Province: The name of the state/province where this tax should apply. This combo box takes the province values from the stations in the system, so you need to enter your stations first. By default this value is "All".
NOTE: Keep in mind if you select country and province, the system interprets you are trying to configure a provincial tax and the country will be overwrite to "All".

In order to create a route, you must have first create some stations that you want to use as the stops in your route. For Betterez, a Route is any collection of stations that flow in the same direction. With that definition in mind, in order to sell a round trip, you must create and opposite route, or using that same collection of stations, have them flow in the opposite direction.

The Mapping configuration area allows you to set up the following mappings, stations, products, fares and fare classes.

Auto redeem tickets for no check-in stations when closing check-in: If enabled, then all tickets will be automatically redeemed after the check in is closed.

This button works for creating or editing legs from a schedule using all the stations of the route and starting with the time already defined and giving time gaps from station to station as defined in the segment information or a default of one hour.

Make sure to check this article.. If some settings are enabled, tickets in later stations could be automatically redeemed when closing the check in in the first station.

Go to the Fare tables and ERASE the price for those stations.

The trips will show the times in the local timezone of the user for easy following of the trips. By selecting any trip, a new page will be displayed with a map. In that map users can see all the stations marked as well as the real-time bus position if it is travelling.

• Mappings Configuration: Support for mapping fare types, stations, and terms of service across operators.

Warning If =true the operation message will appear as a warning (in an orange colour), but still allow the customer to proceed with the purchase. If warning is selected and a station is not associated to the warning, the warning message will apply to all stations network-wide.

Whenever one of the stations on the ticket doesn't belong to the current trip:

This section allows you to define which stations a specific payment method will be available at and apply restrictions as needed.

This is for locations, stations also consider as internal agencies and it is not to be confused with Network Agency. This feature does not allow you to close the shifts of a network agency.

Save all names related to stations in uppercase. When enable, yhe name and alternative names of stations will be saved in all uppercase letters.

• The radius that it uses to look for near stations is too short (or none has been set). It can be changed from back-office under admin --> scanning --> Pre-select station based on GPS.

Navigate to Operations -> Stations and select the station for which you would like to display pricing and accept currencies in a currency other than the base currency of the account.

Para crear una ruta, debe tener primero [crear algunas estaciones] (../ Operaciones/170_stations#) que desea usar como paradas en su ruta. You can now select the new origin, destination, and date for the ticket. Please note the list of available stations depends on the original Product Line under which the ticket was purchased, and the fare type cannot be modified.

All stations configured on the route are the ones that will appear in the rate table according to the order in which they were added.

With the scanner app, the driver can simply scan the QR code of a redeemable item and, as long as the stations in the RI matches the current trip, a new reservation will be created for the passenger.

Note: The refund to voucher would issue a voucher with the restriction that a portion of the trip needs to match the origin and destination stations from the original trip. If you would like to offer an open voucher with no restrictions you can always void that one and issue a manual one for the required amount.
