If you have not configured the seat class correctly, you will not be able to select it. In this case there is no fare table with a seat class "Economy". To solve this, you must create a fare table or a journey price for this route with the corresponding seat class.

Creating a fare class

The use of fare classes are a feature only available for accounts with products that are using the Journey Pricing pricing schema. Customers using this pricing type must declare at least on fare class in order to show results in the trip search. Accounts with products using the Point to Point pricing type can not use fare classes.

It is not uncommon for an operator to offer a journey with one or more connections on route to the final destination. This is done by connecting different schedules using specified stations as connecting hubs. Before connections can be enabled in an account it is necessary to ensure that the following steps are completed.

Using promo codes

  • Our promo code setup is designed to respect the lowest hierarchy rule (i.e. Product -> Type -> Route) first within the list of constraints. For example: if a customer configures the promo to be of type 'Roundtrip', but also to apply for a specific route, then the discount will only apply to the leg of the journey that is within the designated route (when choosing a round-trip transaction) rather than applying to both legs. This is because the return leg is part of a different route, and therefore a new promo rule needs to be created to discount both legs.

Dashboard

The dashboard allows you to view a breakdown of your transactions, tickets, and journeys in addition to the tickets per channel. Similar to the previous iteration, you can view these quantities in a variety of date ranges: 12 months (annual), 12 weeks (quarter), 30 days (month), 7 days (week), today, and custom ranges. The bar graphs adapt to the selected duration - becoming more granular for shorter time frames i.e. will show by month for the annual selection and by day for the 30 day selection.

The fares mapping allows you to select the fares that will be equivalent between the consumer and the provider when both accounts use journey pricing. It is possible to select more than one.

Account preferences

When changing the prices and calculating taxes backwards, the account’s rounding policy is applied and this can cause some rounding errors in connecting trips. This rounding errors will be fixed in the last ticket of each journey. Any transaction fees will be added to to the price after taxes.

Cross Border Taxation

Once Cross Border Taxation is enable in the account each route will have a Cross Border Taxation distance Table. In each space you will have to enter the distance between stations and this distance will be used for prorating the amount of tax applied to the journey using the different tax rates configured (normal vs. border rates). You can also upload the distances by downloading the csv template and uploading it with the values.

Products - flexpass

Avoid overlapping times in different trips: If =true, an error message will appear on the passenger details screen if the same flexpass is used to redeem two trips with overlapping journey times on the same date.

Name of the schedule associated to the manifest (in this case 09:00); effective date and time for the manifest, (this correspond to the date and time the vehicle starts it's journey).
