Navigate to Admin>Taxes.

By default, taxes (if configured) will be calculated on top of the prices for trips or items. The taxes will not be displayed in the trip results and they will be displayed itemized in the shopping cart before the purchase is finalized.

In the taxes configuration page check the Is Border field only for the TAX which will be of border type.

If your account uses taxes by state/province, please verify the value entered here matches those in the tax table

Calculate commission after taxes: If the "Calculate commission after taxes" is unchecked, the commission will be calculated before the taxes applied to the operation.

If the account has the "price include taxes" setting (under Admin > Setup), then the taxes will be included in the fare table price, so technically these would be included in the accumulation as well.

To create a tax, navigate to Admin -> Taxes and selected +Add new to continue to the New Tax screen to begin with the configuration of your new tax. If you would like to edit an existing tax, select the tax you wish to edit.

You will be directed straight to the shopping cart where the appropriate taxes and fees will be applied and a payment can be made in cash by the customer. After payment is received and customer details are entered, click Pay

This table is also used to show or hide pricing for a specific origin and destination, so even if you do not need to calculate or prorate taxes you still need to fill it out for the pricing to work and trips to show in the trip search, but in this case you can add just "1".

Taxes associated with the original fare will remain in place, so you won't need to pay extra taxes when making a change.

Always apply taxes to fees When enabled, this will override the taxable setting of the cancel fees and products in a transaction, to always apply any corresponding taxes to the cancel fees (only applicable to reservation and parcel products)

Arriving at the shopping cart screen the user will find a summary of the purchase with any applicable taxes or fees included. Clicking on Check Out will bring the user to the Payment information where a payment can be applied to the transaction using one of the available forms of payment. Clicking on Next will finalize the purchase.

This configuration set in Admin -> Account will stablish the name to be displayed for the account, which currency or currencies the account will accept, if taxes should be included in price or not, languages, country, among other general settings related to the account.

You can see the details of each one such as full ticket information, ssrs, fees or taxes applied to the ticket

The Proration Table is used to properly calculate taxes on connecting trips that might go through provinces or zones with different tax rates.

• Penalties are not affected by taxes. The total is added at the end.

Tax Exempted: This field allows the modifier to exempt taxes at the time of payment.
