Mandatory admin configuration

Having transparent and visible terms and conditions for use of your products and services is essential to help mitigate risk and customer dissatisfaction. As such, the configuration of your general terms and conditions is something that should not be overlooked.

Probably the most commonly used product in the Betterez platform, the Reservation product allows customers to make reservations for a known origin and destination on a specified date in time. From there, the reservation product can get very specific using additional features such fare types, fare classes, brands, inventory, seatmaps, amenity groups and a host of other features.

In the above example, if you were to provide us the whitelist above, it would indicate that for Visa(V), you would accept any of the codes ["Y", "X", "W", "Z", "A"], but if a successful purchase was returned with a code of "U", Betterez should void that purchase, and therefore not complete the sale. The other codes listed correspond to Mastercard(M), American Express(AX), and Novus/Discover(NO), and each can be assigned its own whitelist. Codes for all credit card types mentioned must be provided.

Request endpoint: This endpoint will be used to send GET and POST requests for some actions that your application may want to do, like resetting a pwd (action='resetPwd'), self service changes (action='change'), using a gift certificate (action='useGiftCertificate'), redeeming a flexpass (action='redeemFlexpass'), logging a user using a jwtToken (action='logginUser'), etc.

Settings: This should ba a valid JSON object, you can use this to expose certain values to your application, like specific fare types or productIds. Make sure you don't expose private information in this object.

Account preferences

Group shift by operating company If enable the shift summary will be showed the total amount by brand, also any product that comes or becomes a ticket service will be split by the operating company based on the ticket and the origin-destination if is flex pass or RI. This setting only has effect if the account has the option 'Enable finance information by operating company' configured.

Note that account inputs such as terms and conditions, fares types, custom messages, etc will not be automatically translated and will need to be completed by the operator since they depend on the message/name you will like to enter here.

Custom fields

Once created, the new custom field will appear in the final window of the checkout process, right before the payment is finalized. For example, in the image below you can see a a customer field to collect information about how the customer heard of the service.
