Accumulating and redeeming loyalty points is something that is managed at the level of Pricing records. For every journey pricing rule/Market pricing modifier that is entered, there are two parameters related to loyalty.

Customers using Journey Pricing or Market Pricing as pricing schema must declare at least on fare class in order to show results in the trip search. Accounts with products using the Point to Point pricing type can not use fare classes.

Market Pricing will expand you options, combining the power of Journey pricing with the simplicity of point to point pricing.

The Betterez platform offers three distinct types of pricing schema for the that can be applied to a (reservation) product:

The product associated with the trip. Required on Root classes. Only products using Journey Pricing or Market Pricing are supported.

Control Classes are a pricing and inventory management feature in Betterez that allows operators to define hierarchical pricing levels for ticket sales. Through a tree-based structure of classes, operators can create fine-grained pricing rules that respond to purchase characteristics such as sales channel, fare type, seat class, brand, and how far in advance a ticket is purchased.

You can only enable open return when the pricing schema is one of Journey or Market pricing

Remove pricing from all fare tables that include the station you want to remove.

For Market pricing:

The ticket details page has all the basic information on the ticket on the table on the left. You can also click on some parameters to navigate to other pages. For instance, clicking on the travel date will take you to the manifest where the ticket is located. You can access the agent's shift and the JP rule applied for this ticket's pricing as well.

Use Case: Drivers can now sell trips with seatmaps. The driver app will pull the latest pricing for the seat, including any seat fees when selling the ticket with the driver app.

Configuration: Administration -> Scanning -> configure the "Scanner app sales" section with your product, fare types and payments to accept with onboard sales
