This article describes how multi-factor authentication (MFA) works when signing in to the Betterez app, and how to use an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator) to get the one-time code.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds a second step to sign-in by requiring a one-time code from an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator) in addition to the user’s password.

When this option is checked, every user in the account must set up and use multi-factor authentication (MFA) to sign in. After entering their email and password, users will be prompted for a one-time code from an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator) on their phone or device. Users who have not yet set up MFA will be redirected to complete MFA enrollment before they can access the app.

Users will be able to click on the Sign in with EntraId button to be redirected to the EntraId authentication portal. Once successfully authenticated in EntraId, they will be automatically redirected back to Betterez with their session started.

On the SSO tab, note the Client ID and Client Secret. Then change the Token Endpoint Authentication Method to POST. Click Save.

Users will be able to click on the Sign in with CyberArk button to be redirected to the CyberArk authentication portal. Once successfully authenticated in CyberArk, they will be automatically redirected back to Betterez with their session started.

If your account or user has multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled, you will be asked for a one-time code from an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator) after entering your password. For the full sign-in flow and setup, see Signing in with MFA.

Once in the Transaction Summary report page, you can filter the data by Payment type, Agency, date, Authentication code, or Shift Location. Once you select the data you would like to display, click on the "Apply Filters" button to display the data.
