The Bundle family of products, allow you to create different "bundles" or multi-trip booklets that can be sold at a discount and redeemed by the passenger at a later time for a proper reservation.

When tickets were purchased using the pre bought redeemable items, a layer of logic adds to the above: When a bundle/Redeemable items were purchased, a transaction is created. To recon this we will need redeemable items created minus the transaction; When a redeemable item is redeemed, there is no new transaction is created, but a ticket will be generated, to recon this the ticket minus the redeemable item redeemed, it will give us 0.

For majority of the tickets sold, the work flow is straight forward: A ticket is generated when a transaction is successful. Paid transaction total equals paid ticket amount. Similarly when a gift certificate or a paid in item is created, a paid transaction is generated, and the transaction total equals to the amount paid for the gift certificate.

Refund with voucher is also allowed for the bundle product, considering that it only applies when these were configured as cancellable and have not been redeemed yet.

In open return cases, you can also refund a RI if it has not been redeemed. The Redeemable Item payment method and Bundle must be configured as cancellable.

Before using Redeemable items, please, make sure you have already configured bundles as explained here.

External Passes, Flex Passes and Redeemable Items always allows reverse O & D, regardless of this setting.

To use the scanning app for the first time it is necessary to configure the following items in the account via back office:

Products - reservations

Once you activate the open return option you will need to select a bundle product configured as an open return.

Open return reservations, are a variation of the product that allow the departure part of a trip to be a firm reservation (with a given day and trip) and the return portion of it is a redeemable item that can be converted in a proper reservation at a later day.

The system will display an error with the legend :" Some of the selected items are invalid or missing” when a cancellation can not be made because of cuttoff time for refund has expired.
