This feature will allow the operator to configure, by channel, the length of time that a seat is placed on hold during the sales flow.

The right side of the overview is a bit different depending on the use of seatmaps and/or vehicle assignment.

To create a new version Seatmap navigate to Admin > Sales operations -> Seatmap

We decide to Move the first leg to a new one. The process is the same as a direct trip. In this specific case, there is a seatmap assigned to the "Lima" to "Ica" trip, so you have to pick the new seat on the right side of the screen.

Two key updates have been made to the Pay Later configuration:

New Setting – Expiration Time Prior to Trip Departure
A new time-based parameter allows you to expire Pay Later reservations X minutes or hours before departure, whichever is earlier between this setting and the existing Maximum Waiting Time. This helps automatically free up held seats if payment is not initiated in time.

Updated Setting Language – Wait Time Departure Offset

New Name: Wait Time Departure Offset
New Tooltip: To permit payment processing to continue past the departure time of a trip, this setting allows the 'waiting for payment' status to extend beyond departure by the offset time specified.

These updates provide greater flexibility and automation in managing seat holds and payments near departure times.

The fare tables will have an effective date, seat class and fare class. It's not possible create or edit a fare tale withe the same or overlapped period, also is not possible create or edit a duplicate fare table.

It is a pricing scheme that sets prices from different origins to destinations configured on a route. It does not require greater dynamism in its prices, and can be classified by seat classes, fare classes and effective dates.

The Standing Passenger feature allows additional capacity to be added to a vehicle without assigning specific seats. This is especially useful on high‑demand routes where maximizing passenger load is critical.

The seat will be chosen for each trip or subtrip if necessary, verifying the origin and destination, the number of seats available, and the seat location (row and column) if applicable, as well as the level or floor of the bus.

Vehicles can be assigned to schedules and manifest. Each vehicle can also be associated to a seatmap.

If seat maps are being used, needs to be careful when doing changes as seats already taken are not going to be able to be selected.

To setup live seatmaps, we first need to update the hold period a customer will have on their purchase window selection that will prevent other users from booking the same seat.

This case is to test which parameter between MP and JP have greater weight when setting prices, and how they can be impacted by seat classes configuration.

Notice that in some cases you may want to use different Ids for different items that may have different characteristics, even if they belong to the same product and type. For example: reservations in the same account sometimes have seat information and sometimes they don't depending on the schedule. You may want to test how your template behaves with the different reservations.

Marking the passenger as a no show will remove the passenger from the manifest and will release the seat.

In the case the manifest uses seatmaps, the first available seat will be assigned to the ticket and showed in the scanner app.

If the trip has a seatmap, an available seat will be automatically assigned to the passenger and informed to the driver.

The list can be sorted by Last Name or Seat and also it has a toggle to show un-redeemed tickets first (while keeping the selected sorting option).

Probably the most commonly used product in the Betterez platform, the Reservation product allows customers to make reservations for a known origin and destination on a specified date in time. From there, the reservation product can get very specific using additional features such fare types, fare classes, brands, inventory, seatmaps, amenity groups and a host of other features.

Allow to assign a vehicle without a seatmap to a manifest. This feature if enable will allow to assign a vehicle to a manifest without a seatmap. Notice that this will only work if the manifest doesn't already has a seatmap assigned, if so, even with this feature enable you will not be able to change the manifest to stop using seatmaps.
