Seat classes can be used to differentiate the type of seats on a seat-map and provide different prices at the seat level. Once created you can assign a seat class to a seat on the seat-map editor. You can control prices in the Pricing section.

Once you select the other tickets (which include a companion) you will be able to proceed. You can select all 3 seats at the same time in the right side of the screen. In the Passenger detail table you will be able to confirm the corresponding seats to each passenger.

This seat is not available and cannot be booked via any channels. It would serve to control social distancing. Blocked seats affect capacity.

The system will try to re-assign the seats as best as possible. If the new vehicle/seatmap has less seats than already sold, you will not be able to change it.

The seat will be chosen for each trip or subtrip if necessary, verifying the origin and destination, the number of seats available, and the seat location (row and column) if applicable, as well as the level or floor of the bus.

For example, if the bus has 45 seats and the Load Factor is set with a range from 20% to 100% and there are 8 or fewer seats reserved, then the modifier will not be activated and the regular price will be displayed in the trip result.

In order to be able to apply the prices to the seats, the seat must be configured in the seat map with the corresponding seat class.

The Standing Passenger feature allows additional capacity to be added to a vehicle without assigning specific seats. This is especially useful on high‑demand routes where maximizing passenger load is critical.

Two key updates have been made to the Pay Later configuration:

New Setting – Expiration Time Prior to Trip Departure
A new time-based parameter allows you to expire Pay Later reservations X minutes or hours before departure, whichever is earlier between this setting and the existing Maximum Waiting Time. This helps automatically free up held seats if payment is not initiated in time.

Updated Setting Language – Wait Time Departure Offset

New Name: Wait Time Departure Offset
New Tooltip: To permit payment processing to continue past the departure time of a trip, this setting allows the 'waiting for payment' status to extend beyond departure by the offset time specified.

These updates provide greater flexibility and automation in managing seat holds and payments near departure times.

Also updated:

• Added an alternative view for seats selection. The user can now switch between a seat map and a list of seats.

ONLY associate one seatmap per inventory item. If you don't have a Seat Map already made, you may select 'New Seat Map' to create one. NOTE: The capacity of the inventory item must match number of seats on the seat map.

If seat maps are being used, needs to be careful when doing changes as seats already taken are not going to be able to be selected.

Operators looking to adjust their prices for schedules over a specific date range with different capacities can take advantage of the Betterez Price Buckets feature. This will enable you to price your seats based on capacity buckets for normal and promotional loading.

The system calculates capacity based on the parameters of the search. For example a seat with one seat left will be shown as sold out if the passenger is trying to purchase two or more tickets. So some trips will be shown as "Sold out" with respect of the search parameters even when they are not technically sold out and some seats may be available.

• Purchase confirmation: Allows you to verify the details of the purchase, such as travel dates, schedules, selected seats, prices and payment methods.

Once saved the schedule will appear in the UI on the Edit Route page. From this screen, the schedule can be deleted (provided no seats have been sold on a manifest yet), edited, viewed or select a copy of the current schedule to create another one and generate further changes.
